You must tell me my friend, how did you made datacore. Im planing to make some badass battlecruiser and I love this shapes. Did you followed some tutorial or something? I like specialy cover for units. Any tips?

well... basically the datacore grew over the time. I didn't even intend to model it that way.
when I started I wanted it to be as detailed as possible.
For that I began with modelling the different floors and went on to modelling the beams (even though most of them can't even be seen) for the whole structure.
in the end I just wrapped around the hull and added the wires, which I guess fit quite well.

I haven't used any tutorial for this one, but I got inspired a bit by a manga.

Hehe, ich bedanke mich auch recht herzlich für die Watch und deine netten Worte - werd dich auch mal besser im Auge behalten, sonst verpass ich noch eins deiner Werke. Hast du eigentlich auch schon mal dran gedacht, die zu texturieren? Das sieht dann zwar noch besser aus aber ich kenn das ja - texturing ist das Schlimmste am 3D für mich =/
