Hm...you can either adjust the contrast or brightness in your scanner program either that or you use Photoshop/Photo Editor/Open Canvas...Corel? Lots of other programs as long as it can edit photos or...whatever. XD

You click on the drop down menu is either EDIT or OPTIONS. o_O Not really sure since I'm more or less a Photoshop Buff.

Anyway, you first adjust the Brightness level higher to fade out any uhm...dirt, debri and whatever dark spots. This, though, also fades out the color.

That's when you go to the contrast option. Usually, the two (Brightness/Contrast) are found as one option button.

The contrast is used to make the faded colors which you have done so, in both your scanning process and in brightening, to bring back the brightness of the colors. Adjust to your liking of course. ^^

*blink* Oh wow. Lovely gallery...although I think the scanner fades the colors of your deviations. Ever thought of messing around with the Brightness/Contrast Options in you Photo Editing program?

XD Just a suggestion though cuz its really nice just a little faded.
