That's a great approach, I couldn't agree more. :) (Smile) It's great to feel that there is another person at the end of the line, too. Internet is so anonymous that you sometimes loose that feeling that there is actually a real human being there, you know?

I know exactly what you mean :) (Smile) The internet sometimes become too anonymous, I think... I try to work against it as much time allow it.

And to think that there's just small things you need to do to turn it about - like writing a personal welcome
But I guess not everybody has the enthusiasm nor energy. Time is also an important factor.

In my opinion if you have none of the things mentioned, one should perhaps not have a group. Am I totally wrong?

That's very nice of you. :) (Smile) I think because of the anonymity factor people tend to down-prioritize internet if they don't have the time or energy. Having a group is does claim a bit of you time. I have to disagree, I think you can run a group without having to spend so much time on it. But I think, though, that the success of the group is dependent on how much you put down yourself in it. :) (Smile)

Hey, I'm new to Deviantart so I'm not sure if it messages you when someone replies to something you replied on?

I left a message for you over on the Secret World group, it looks like you left the Official Art section as unable to be contributed to by us normal members, I thought I should tell you, you missed a bunch of concept art, I have put it up in my gallery for now, but I tried to put it over on there and there's no 'Contribute to this folder' button in the top-right corner like there is with Screenshots (I submitted some of those already)!

Well, I say "new", I've known of/browsed DA since like early 2000s I remember it when people were still using Elfwood too hah, but never really got around to signing up what with it being so easy to host your own website these days
