Thanks for the faves! I really do mean it
Unfortunately, people are always going to thank you for faves. It's a courtesy thing; somebody compliments a person by favoriting their art, that person is going to thank them for it. The only way to eliminate recieving the "thanks for the faves" comments is to disable your comment wall on your profile. You still have the comment wall on the artwork, which will give people a place to critique your work.
Coming from an art school grad, the best thing I can say is to get your work critiqued, do your own critiquing as well. Critique anyone or anything you see. You learn a lot about both other people's work as well as your own if you make solid critiques on other artwork. Ask these questions: Do you like it? Don't like it? Why? Is it a technique issue? Subject matter? Is there something the artist can do to improve it? Does any of this reflect in MY work?
Sometimes people get defensive about their work, and if you critique them, they may not like you or your comments. You're entitled to your opinions and they are entitled to theirs. But if you back it up with good reasoning behind your critique and constructive suggestions, they're more likely to accept it and maybe even give you critique back.
TL;DR? (and if you didn't read it, shame on you, you asked for input, lol)
People will always thank you for faves; it's easy and it's being courteous. Disable your wall if you don't want them. And critique other people's work, it'll help you learn to see your own work with new eyes and open lines of dialogue with others.

Although i can understand why one would want to be courteous and some of the motives behind why one might be thanking me for faving their artwork, i find it a bit of a useless trial, especially if one has a large following and gets fav's constantly. A fav (if i'm not mistaken) marks that someone likes your art, but that's that. I have not left money or anything else of use, so why take time that you could be using to create more art or do other useful things to thank me for finding something useful or funny or aesthetically pleasing? Is my opinion worth that much? On top of that, if one uses their comments section as a form of communications (weither it be from customers or friends or otherwise), it can lead to clutter and make communicating more difficult (that said, there is always the notes section for that kind of matter).
I will keep your suggestion of critique in mind. I am not very confident in my ability to tell what i like and don't like in a piece, but nothing gained from nothing tried no?
By the way, thank you for taking your time out of the day to give me such input! i appreciate it much more than simply acknowledging my existence as somebody who liked what you did.

i do not think i can be very avaible to colouring anymore as i have lost my own tablet to malfuctions and that i curentley lack the needed software or computer power to make it function with efficientcey. if things change, i will let you know.
