Oops, so sorry for dropping off the radar without notice. I got massively distracted by the latest Harry Potter book!
And yes, I did see the news. Aang with hair looks soo different (but still adorable). But no Iroh anywhere?! I hope it's just a case of saving the best for last.

Yeah... I mean, considering how popular Iroh was, I doubt they'd take him out of the show. He might be imprisoned for a while though...

Iroh only stays imprisoned until he finds something better to do. Then he will be free in a blink.

The Deathly Hallows had me crying several times - but it's still high up my list of favorites.

Almost all my friends are waiting for the German translation, so I don't have anybody here to squee and commiserate with over the book in great leangths... and yes, it sucks to be Severus Snape.

I like Zuko, but mostly in his capacity as Iroh's nephew and as such I am not happy with him. Especially not after seeing the Season 3 trailer (if you mean that one). But I like Mai better and better, which is lucky I guess...
In contrast to HP I am not bothered by spoilers for Avatar at all. I like the characters so much, I can watch them even if I know where they will end.

Well yeah, Avatar's kind of a kid's show, so some things are obvious. I'm still not to keen on Mai, mostly because she seems a little one-dimensional to me. And about Zuko, I know what you mean - he's much better together with adorable Iroh, and his obsession with the avatar, I'm wondering what they'll do about him now that he's gone looking for his mum... I loved the bratty spoiled jerky prince streak he has though but still.... omg! What a jerk he is to Iroh in the season 3 trailer!! He's so got to crawl back on his stomach and beg for forgiveness...

The lack of Iroh awesomeness made me sad, but I still almost started foaming during the trailer. The next season will be so kick-a$$.
And Zuko better asks for Iroh's forgiveness or else...

Part of me hopes that Iroh will be 'adopted' by the Gaang. That should be enough to get Zuko's attention and show him what he's been missing since BaSingSe.

Yeah, but I wonder how they'd save him... I think Iroh will just escape singlehanded, being the kick ass guy he is, he's only sticking around in prison for Zuko to get good again - and I think that Zuzu will go find his mum, and then suddenly realise how terrible Ozai is ruling or something, and join the resistance and then they might both join the Gaang - I think they will. The Gaang needs a father figure anyway n_n

I really want to see Iroh kick some serious buttock, too!! Perhaps the White Lotus Society will help him out first and then he stumbles over Aang.
Iroh certainly has already good standing with the Gaang and also the right temperament to help Aang get over his fear of fire. I am half expecting that Zuko might get involved into a resistance against his father during his search for Ursa.

Yeah, well I know that Zuko will get to take Azula down...he'll probably learn to control lightning in the last episode or something too, when he doesn't have as much inner turmoil (that mr. "WHAT inner turmoil?!!!" stubbornly refuses to have any of). And Iroh will most likely join the Ozai-resistance... so maybe that's when they meet and Zuko will have to get down on his knees and apologise ... I know that Zuko will do other things than go looking for his mum. I want him to find her, but he's too important for the show to suddenly be doing something that has nothing to do with the current storyline...

I think finding his mum will be the catalyst to get Zuko finally on the right way. I also agree that seeing Zuko kowtowing to Iroh would be an immensely satisfying scene

I keep reading things in a weird way, somehow I got 'arhritic turtle' as a really fast thing.......drawing fast is not always good though *raises finger* It's better to take your time to get the best result....
