I guess I want to chime in as well... although a few days after the fact... I just ran across your page and I gotta say that I am very impressed with what you have done in the amount of time you have done it. (huh?) Some people will be critical of what you do... but at least they are pointing things out that could make your work better. Whenever you get some smack like you got from ol' Dani Davey (Filth) eye -yourstalker, just reply with a basic thank you for your comments/criticisms or do not reply at all... but fueling the fire by engaging in a war of words will not benefit you much... even if it can be fun sometimes... I think you are off to a great start and you have a great one to learn from in your dad. His stuff is really good, IMHO... I'm stalking you to see what else you do. You are at an extremely creative age right now... I know, I was once there long ago... when tools and mediums like we have now did not really exist or were in their infancy... good luck and welcome to DA.

I just ran across your page through your dad - welcome to DA, and hope to see you push yourself to see what a great artist you can become! So many people on here do the exact same thing over and over again, and stagnate as an artist...so I hope you'll challenge yourself like your dad has

Anyway...I'm reading the comments on this page...and I have to put in my 2 cents.

I like commenting, but I don't really sugarcoat anything (like yourstalker) - just ask your dad. I'm sure he hates me sometimes! I'm not out to keep anyone down (I think I make people better)...I just don't blow smoke up anyone's ass like everyone else does. I think THAT is what will hold you down in the end. People would rather feel good than hear the truth and get better.

Nice try kid, actually how sweet did I claim to be? I did treat you nice at first, I told you the truth, that is a nice thing to do, if I were to stand there and lie to you, I wouldn't be nice. Also I don't hate your art, I never claimed too, you just assumed, and your assumption was way off. You show potential, so I gave you criticism that would help you, but obviously the truth is something you don't really like. Criticism is something that can better your art for later days, if I hated your art and didn't want to view it, why would I try to help you?

I didn't slaughter you, I was far from slaughtering. One thing you could try is get a better font(which I already said) and try a different design or maybe try to improve your current one with working on the colors being so blatant and harsh and work on the way they fade together. Also maybe you could try to work on the water effects at the bottom to get it to not look blurry in some spots and distorted in others. Work on the ripples more.
