Why thankyu thankyu. And yes it should be nice and icy. Winter/autumn has always been our fave seasons. Plus summer weddings just don't make sense to us even though its quite popular over here to melt on your wedding day.

It's going to be small/medium one, approx 60 peeps. It'll be like a large birthday party sized group. Formal wear with steampunky bitz for the bridal/groom parties.

Aha, I thought I was graduating too, then I found I had one more unit left.
Sadly I've been in the real world for like 2 years already but I haven't entirely ruled out an academic career.

Eh, actually we've already been engaged a month or two, I'm just slack on the
uptake. And madi does most of it, just consulting me for subjective things. And given that madi's been asking me nonstop for about 3 or 4 years she's been making all sorts of connections and such in the meantime, by and by it kind of did itself. We just now have a reduced income while we pay it all off.

We've chatted and looked it up, and it looks like a return ticket from Los Angeles to Sydney is about 1k. We're both happy to pay for half or two thirds or whatever of the ticket, drive you around (we drive on the left MWAHAHAHA!) and give you a place to sleep either at our house or our friends/family/whatever. You'll have to do your own spending money passport etc though.
If you come and if (we haven't checked yet) it's legal for a non Australian citizen, we'd both like you to be one of our two witnesses though. So, uh, bring ID I guess.
But yeah we figured it'd be a bit weird to all our friends/family to make A- a girl and B- a complete stranger to them best man. Especially with such a long drawn out explanation, gawd.
