hey, i read the process you use to make one part of ur picture color and the rest black and white and it seems really complicated. all i do is use the magnetic laso tool to outline the part i want color, click select inverse, and then go to the menu and hit remove color. this takes about five minutes and seems a lot simpler. im not smart enough to figure out all that layer stuff.
by the way, you have a simply awsome gallery here. definetly watching you, hope you dont mind

Hey, jut been peeking at your gallery, I really like your work. Can I ask you a question? How do you keep part of the picture colour, when the rest is black and white, what process do you use (Im sorry for asking, Im a little dumb, but I love the effect you get from it) X Vicky X

I dont mind you asking at all. You need photoshop to do it, and you use the layers. convert the image to greyscale and paste it onto a new layer. Change your background back to color but leave the top level black and white. then just erase the parts you want in color on the top layer. thats all there is to it
