Hey Amy I think I spend too much time on facebook and found myself getting too lazy to take pics lol. I'm still on dA now and then and really wanna get back into taking photos. I still do, but they never turn out like I want them too. Oh well, I'll keep trying and in the meantime, check back on dA now and then.

Everything's fine around here Exams of the first semester went fine, all passed Now, I'm entering the second semester with classes until June and their exams after

I haven't been taking as many pics these days as I used to as seem to find myself busy all the time but I do want to get back out there and take more pics. Hey Erin! It HAS been a long time. Far too long, if you ask me! As far as thanking me for what I said, I only say what is true. You seriously have some stunning work up there and when I think back to the insecure, budding photographer you once were, it's all that much more amazing! I knew you always had it in you, you just needed to find that confidence. And by gracious, you did!
I do hear ya about missing shooting. I haven't been out with my camera since my wife and son and I went to Seattle, WA in... oh heck, I think it was September... it's been a while. I shot nearly 3 rolls of film (which I still need to finish off and develop) and tons of digital but I haven't had the energy or time to really do that. I miss it.

So yeah, the about me...
Well, I got married in August. Happiest day of my life. Without question, the happiest day. We have a son, Ethan. Actually, he's my step-son but I would never consider him to be anything less than my little boy. He's 9 and just an absolute gem. SO wise for his age. So smart, such a wonderful little man.
On the down-side, I'm still fighting with my health. The docs go back and forth on what they think is wrong, but they keep coming back to the same thing and that is Multiple Sclerosis. Kind of a terrifying diagnosis, but not the death sentence it once was. My mates keep telling me just to be strong and I'm doing my best. i go in for the deciding round of diagnostics on Friday so I'll know more by next week. Honestly, at this point, having watched myself decline from a healthy 28 year old man to someone who can barely walk, can barely tie his own shoes, can't remember anything for more than an hour or two at most... I'd be happy just knowing what is wrong no matter what it is so I can start to move on.
This is all further insulted by the fact that my ex drove me so far into the negative as far as money that I'm having to file for bankruptcy protection and write off all of my debts. My one-of-a-kind car that I had put over 3 years of research into trying to get the most power out of it I could without sacrificing fuel economy and keeping it looking stock just got towed off by the bank tonight. I was mortified. but my wife, God bless her soul, just hugged me and told me everything is going to be fine. She's right. It will be. We will get to keep the house and we'll always have each other and our friends.

So yeah, I'm still living here in Billings. Still working for the local schools. i did get a promotion, I think since the last time I talked with you. I am now the lead database engineer and programmer for our student information system. TONS of responsibility, but a paycheck to match, so I don't complain.

The weather here has been weird. We're in the throws of winter. But it's been odd. We had temps about -25F at the end of December but through most of January it's been up around 40F. It's supposed to drop back down a tad this weekend and snow some more but this is really odd... even for Montana.

So I hope all is well for you, too. I'd like to hear a bit if there's anything to share. I do have a Facebook account. Just look up Wesley Miller in Billings, MT. That'll be me.

SOrry to hear about the troubles with your Ex but am glad to hear you are happily married with your new family. Congrats on your job promotion too that's excellent.
I tried to find you just now on facebook but I type in Wesley Miller and a zillion Wesley millers come up so I typed in Billings, MT and it says no results? Anyway, what is your profile pic, maybe I can find which one is you by a description. Search for me maybe, I'm Erin Smith, Australia and theres a pic of me with my fiance.
Thats right lol we got engaged in April this year and our wedding is set for Feb in the new year hehe. We're just going to have a small family wedding in Mums garden and then reception here in the garden at my place.

Likewise, I'm not on dA much anymore.

You know, the troubles with the Ex had me down pretty badly at that point. But I've moved on from it. In April, I got a killer deal on what has always been my dream car. A Saab 9000 CSE. It's much nicer than my little Chevrolet. Has a ton more miles on it too but I'll take that for the luxury.

Funny thing is that in the time between now and the last message, I've actually gotten moved at work again. I'm now no longer in charge of the student system, but lead all programming and development for several data systems. I'm also managing the associated servers.

The good news is that I don't have MS. I've had test after test after test and none have come back conclusive. So, they decided it was Fibromyalgia and started treating accordingly. I'm still pretty crippled up but the stuff they have me doing/taking is helping a lot and I'm far more functional than I was!

Congrats on the engagement! That's fantastic news! Your locations sound fantastic! I will expect to see photos, of course.

Which leads me to the final bit. Somehow, I've ended up non-searchable on Facebook and nobody can figure out quite why that is. I've tweaked my privacy settings to no avail and Facebook support is stumped. That said, I did search for you but got multiple hits and I'm not QUITE sure which one is definitely you. Still the same picture?

On Xmas holidays from work at the moment! Omg what a stressful year at work. Its so great to relax and not go to work haha. Only get 2 weeks off but still that's awesome and gonna spend it with my family and just not think of work lol.
