That's cool! What are you doing there? I've never been to Quebec, but a bunch of kids from my school went/are going (I'm not sure because I'm not in the loop) for a roadtrip or something.

I'm doing this french immersion program called Explore. It's really cool, I got a $2200 bursery to do it.

Oh man, that's awesome! My FRANCAIS is basically non-existent, so the fact that you can speak it is amazing to me. Are you going with anyone? It would be understandably nerve-racking if not, but what an opportunity!
I'm going to Las Vegas for two weeks, then my dad's going to be on my back for the rest of the summer complaining and making me find a job and get driving lessons, and then I'll take driving lessons and complain and probably not find a job.

LAS VEGAS?! Dude, that's awesome! Las Vegas is amazing. You can go in casinos there when you're underage, y'know? I mean, you can't play anything, but you're allowed to wander around inside.
And getting a job is actually great, because it means you have your own money. Trust me, once you get your first paycheck and realize that you can BUY WHAT YOU WANT AND DON'T HAVE TO ASK ANYONE, it's the best feeling in the world. Also, driving lessons aren't fun, I'm not gonna lie...they actually kind of suck, but they're good to take. You learn a lot.

Haha, I know, but the casinos are so noisy and the cocktail waitresses' skirts are too short. Hopefully we will get to wander and shop and stuff; I do enjoy shopping in cities that I don't live in.
BUY WHAT YOU WANT AND DON'T HAVE TO ASK ANYONE? *salivates* I'm 99% sure this lady I know will hire me in the fall when school starts back up, but I need some magical way to get from my house after school to there in 15 minutes by city bus when it's a few kilometres away. When I get my G2 (hello, driving lessons) I could drive myself, if I had a car.
Did you know they were going to buy a new house, or did they just do it for fun and tell you afterwards?
