haha. I need to get back to making art. I just finally sat down thinking I'll try and doodle some, but then my baby woke up. Seems she didn't want to take a nap longer than 5 minutes. Alas. I'll try again later. But I'm not even sure what to draw, haha. Even in the five minutes I had I just sort of scribbled colors but didn't make anything worthwhile. looked more like some abstract blob. UGH I'm out of practice.

Sage. She's just now 3 months old. Also I've got strange carpel tunnel ever since delivering. Its kind of weird my fingers often go numb or tingly, in both hands. I'm really hoping it goes away soon because as I'm trying to draw, I end up feeling like my hands asleep after about 15 minutes or so.

dude. So gouache is my newfound friend. AND so is Photoshop and a wacom tablet. AND....and. I totally got ripped a new one by Whitney Sherman. She was all like, "with the work you've been bringing in... I would have told you sometime years in the future, with tons of practice...MAAAAYBE you could become a good illustrator. BUT. You did bring in these ink drawings of animals! There's some hope for you yet!" I didn't know whether to cry or laugh.
