Hi Nadia, thanks for considering "The boulder sits..." was worth a fave
I'm still not sure whether that was a dramatic photograph with the crashing wave or
one of serenity imagining the background sound of the waves.
Maybe those argumentative birds push it towards the dramatic
Have a great week...

I think it's quite dramatic, and the birds definitely help with that!! I had not considered the other view of serenity - I love listening to waves at a beach. Thanks for the perspective

It's the sound of the waves I 'hear' when I look at the photograph. The sound always sends me to sleep on the beach

Someone once said metaphorically and rather prophetically before Covid-19 hit us all;
"In a world where everyone wears a mask, it’s a privilege to see a soul.”
The request from our black cat echoes that Thanks for faving Nadia
...stay safe!

Profound words! Is this cat yours by any chance or one that wanders the neighbourhood?

Until a month ago it was a local cat that was pushed out from his home by a newly acquired dog. We'd often seen him lying in our garden, got friendly with him and finally let him in during a thunderstorm. Being outside all the time had done nothing for his health. He was thin and worm infested. Realising the problems we found his ex-owners and they were only too happy for us to take over guardianship. My ginger cat and b/w cat submissions show our other two. So we are now a three cat family, gradually and carefully integrating the panther into the fold

Cats might think 'Lethargy is an art form...' but I hope your 'treadmills of human
activity' run smoothly this week but will give you time for a worthwhile nap!
Thanks for the fave of the relaxing cat Nadia

I hope you have a great week!

I'm sure you are right. Modern life leads so many into stress that affects metal health and social behaviour, which in turn upsets and stresses others

Nevertheless, if you respect their space they leave humans well alone
