Your avatar reminds me of that egg-like planetoid in the "Good Egg Galaxy" of Super Mario Galaxy. That, or Yoshi's eggs.

Now, I have an urge to play video games for some reason.

Haha, yep, it's a yoshi egg. Although I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that was the first galaxy. My favourite are the hungry Lumas. XD

By the way, nice gallery. :3 I think I like that 'A Small Planetoid' one the best. XD

I may complete another work in the near future with a better, more detailed image of the Small Planetoid in the future, this time with buildings on some of the grassy areas. I'll see how and if it turns out.

Anywhoo, about SMG, my favorite mission in the "Good Egg Galaxy" is the "Snack of Cosmic Proportions" one because Mario is able to visit alot of the little planetoids in the "galaxy". My top 5 favorite "galaxies" in that game are the Good Egg Galaxy, Beach Bowl Galaxy, the Space Junk Galaxy, and the Gusty Garden Galaxy.

Anywhoo, your gallery has a good start, I like the "Butterfly Girl" one the best, it looks like something that'll be a really good piece for you to color someday.

I don't remember the name, but I liked the one where you got to be a bee. x'D It was fun buzzing arooound~ Haha, I have a very simple mind, I suppose. xD;
