Comic Artist Spotlight: DudlaArtWill, AKA dudlaArt, is the creator of the popular web comic strip titled “Clams On The Side”. It’s by far one of my favorite strips that I have come across here on DA. Its simple style, calm pallets, and hilarious humor take me back to the old days of reading the Sunday funnies in the newspapers as a kid. It feels like a blast from the past while also embracing the surreal post-modern humors of today’s edgier comic culture.
Will has not been into the comic scene as long as you might think. “I have been doing comics for about 2.5 years now.” He explains “I started Clams on the Side in July of 2017.” But don’t be fooled into thinking he’s just some amateur who began out of the blue. “I have been on DA for over a year with this account,” he says, “but I do have another account that has been on here forever.
