The background before actually had the texture of the paper beneath the peas, but I figured I'd get a shitload of complaints, so I left it out.

I'd tried different variations with the hole in the corner cropped, but the image seemed to lose a bit of the depth, so I just left it there.
It was light brushed which is why the light appears to be all over the place. Also a possible reason why the scratches look quite ill.

Hmm.. yeah. The afternoon sun was quickly fading, so I didn't have much time to worry about exposure. I could've worked on it a little more though.

Nah, I agree, the left hand side could've done with some more space. But that would've both ruined the elongated look of the shot and would've put some more junk in there. As it is, I already had to remove three cables and three locals watching the dances. Kept me busy quite a while

If I were as intelligent as you gave me credit for, I would have simply ignored your posts. You had asked for my thoughts with regards to some social issues/queries. These were: religion, the critic, and legalisation of marijuana. Modestly, politely, even if ignorantly, I responded, merely for the pleasure of the philosophical discourse. Everyone has their own views particularly in this regard, and I respected yours.
You, sir, on the other hand, not only have you failed to return that mutual respect, but sought to deliberately misinterpret my statements, posting your erroneous paraphrases in public view. These posts generate controversy and irritation on the part of other deviants that browse the material and misunderstood them to be my beliefs.
Secondly, it goes without mention that the tone of your messages often take an accusatory, if not irrelevant turn. In your post of August 22, 2003 (#11420680), you inadvertently assumed a) I did not like you; b) I did not like you because I was "anti-pot" and c) I was "anti-pot". For your information, *homesickellian , and for anyone else who may have possibly been offended as a result of this immature conduct on his behalf, I
a) had accorded him the courtesy as befits every deviant, and amiability as he had initially displayed in our brief conversations.
b) became unsettled by his careless, disrespectful treatment of my questions/responses directed to him. I admit, that, in my early efforts to answer the questions he put forth, it necessitated my leaving deviant comments frequently on his page, and have now regretted doing so, knowing how offensive the act can be, now having experienced it myself firsthand. My comments, however, were always relevant to the topic that was being discussed, and never in a derogatory tone or use of vocabulary, as he has of late, on my page, of which I will mention in a moment.
c) am not anti-marijuana. Frankly, being insufficiently informed and therefore not in a position to pronounce judgement, I simply respect those who wish to avail themselves of the option. I had put in a query about the benefits of (legalising) marijuana out of mere curiosity, upon which this individual immediately pronounced me to be "anti-pot."
Your posts, sir, have of late carried improper language in address in addition to being arbitrary. Your post on Aug 21, 2003 (#11396371) makes incomprehensible remarks that would be more appropriate for the journal; instead, you chose to litter my page with stereotypical assumptions about deviants and later, in your attempts to illicit some response on my part, you fabricated the impression that I was being ill-mannered by my declining to respond -- of which, one does have a right to do under these circumstances. In fact, it is probably the more suitable action to take in such instances of spamming and abuse.
Finally, if you please, I am formally requesting that you refrain from filling my pages/account with depreciative posts and remarks, and hope that, to avoid complications with authorities, you will comply with this simple request graciously.

~endlesschain -- do you mean the avatars? Just upload a .gif image to your account that is 50 x 50 pixels and under 15Kb in size. Use Adobe Imageready or a similar program for animated .gifs. Easy.
