Yes! Drago started from a hexagon in Blender. I've been working on him ever since. My recommendation is to start with the Blender sponsored tutorials. Unfortunately, they made a big change in the user interface going above 2.79 so I don't know if they will be as easy to follow if you use 2.8. I generally like 2.8. I think the layer graph is better but I don't like the new way of using the mouse. Seems like it takes more clicks to get anything done. I've read that it's possible to re-enable the older UI, but I haven't gotten around to trying to figure that out.

Thanks for asking! "Dragonaur" the comic is essentially over. I've been posting the wedding reception pictures somewhat randomly. Once I've gotten a few more pictures of friends and family It'll be completely done. The ending sitting over on comicgenesis is the actual ending. I'm doing the wedding reception as an epilogue over on drunk duck. I was asked for such by a number of readers. As usual summer has been busy and I've fallen behind on that but I have a few more pictures planned.
