# About me

I've been writing for 17 years off and on. What sparked my writing was roleplaying. I was complimented on how well developed my original character was even though I thought my detailing and poetism was lacking. (I started with the Harry Potter world.) Then I moved on to fan fiction where I could control all the characters, which was different because now I had to keep characters from a fandom true and develop my own. I will say, developing your own is easy, keeping true to established characters is much more challenging. I've had over 20,000 views of my first fan fiction with 41 followers. Maybe not astronomical, but for me, I'm floored that I have any followers. My second fan fiction has over 8,000 views and 100 followers.

I'm wanting to move on from the roleplaying and fan fiction and produce original works of art. Not that the roleplaying and fan fiction isn't, but I want to create my own worlds and characters.

I've always been a bit of a story teller. I had stuffed animals I gave personalities to. There were bullies and there were the kind hearted ones, like myself. Even when I played with my toy cars, each one had a story. The pink hatchback was a single middle aged woman who never married. The black thunderbird was a single dad that took his daughter to school every day. The motorcycle was a man who visited his sick friend in the hospital. Yes, I still remember the stories to this day.

I also started cosplaying as Halloween costumes in 1989. I remember, because I desperately wanted to dress like the Joker from the movie Batman that came out that year. I didn't know what cosplaying was until a handful of years ago. My ex-husband mentioned that I would probably be good at, and really like, cosplaying. I wish he had told me more about it or showed me it while we were still together. I would have flown with it at a younger age. I would like to be known for my cosplaying, but I don't do sexy or revealing cosplay. I crossplay more than I do my own gender. (And that's a longer story as to why I do that.)
