I have to ask you about your avatar... it's a symbol that is quite familiar to me and holds a lot of meaning. I'm very interested in what that symbol means to you.

Rolling thunder is a great house in the sca, a place I used to play. My medallion, and silver, were given to me by Olaf Bear Crusher a long time ago. At one time I was the Patriarch of a thunder house.. the symbol represents two things to me- firstly ideals of strength and passion and might for right and never walking in fear- and secondly a fellowship of fine humans that care for each other even if they don't know each other. What does it mean to you?

My own lineage goes back to Olaf Bear Crusher as well (a few generations down the line in Atenveldt).
I was a Mat of a Thunder household until mundane issues interfered. Being given my gold wraps remains one of the happiest and most humbling moments of my life.
As for your explanation of what Thunder means to you... I couldn't have explained it better. The power of that fellowship is what drew me to Thunder in the first place, and what keeps me fervently devoted to the Family. The gathering cry of THUNDERRRRR ringing through the sky still brings a smile to my face and sends shivers up my spine.
I am absolutely delighted and honored to make your acquaintance!
