Yours is clearly one of the longest-running tenures here at dA. Were you one of the original joiners?

Anyway, this is my first visit here, based on seeing your marvelous "Dorothy" in someone else's favorite collection. It's so astounding and intense, this image, that I'm amazed that there aren't any others like it in your collection here. Can you tell me a little about the image, what you were after, what were your influences about it?

Dorothy and Alice are both pictures from a personal passion project I've never really gotten off the ground. Their pictures were also my attempt to really push my art further than I had before, removing lines, adding more color layers, hyper realism, etc.
Sadly, my college life has gotten so busy I've fallen back on easier "anime" styles instead of keeping up on that push because it's just been a lot of stress in RL. Pictures like that take so much time and focus that I just haven't had lately.^^

But I'm glad you like them. They are actually some of my least popular works I think so its nice to hear!
(And yeah, I've been here forEVER lol)
