I was browsing space art and came across your stuff. WOW! I wish I could paint like you. And browsing your gallery I found much more I liked than just your space art. Amazing stuff.

Holy crap!
You have some really spectacular work!
I can't believe you've been here for half a year and have under 100 views. That just isn't fair.
Let's do something about that.
First thing's first, I don't get a whole helluva lot of traffic but I want to feature you in my next journal entry. Is that cool with you? And if so, are there any pieces in particular you'd like me to show? I'm personally fond of Galaxy Setting, the dragon one and your painting of Cthulhu.
And I'll run you by my group's founder, we were just looking for undiscovered talent the other day. If you don't fit the bill, nobody does.

Well, I opened an account 6 months ago but didn't actually start using it until a week ago. I'd be happy to be featured in one of your journal entries though. Those three paintings would be good choices I think. Probably the same ones I would pick.

Excellent. ^.^
I'll send you a link when it's done. I'm not sure if I'm going to do it tonight or tomorrow, since I just posted one on the 12th and I don't want to spam inboxes.
Welcome to dA, by the way!

Thanks. Oil's definitely a great medium. By far my favorite. I just wish it dried faster---that's why I'll probably be doing more digital work for my illustration portfolio.

i hear they can take a month or more to completely dry. whereas acrylics are instant in comparison. for that reason i might have a hard time getting used to oil painting. your work certainly is inspiring though.

Alien Encounter, a piece I added today, is digital.
Mostly I just do digital preliminary studies for my oil paintings but I'll probably be doing more finished works digitally though. I prefer traditional media (it's nice having an actual physical painting after all that work is done) but the slow drying time of oils are a big disadvantage when doing illustration commissions.

I just have recently started to practice digital painting, and it is mostly a hobby and I have found a pretty good free program called My paint, which is still developing but it looks promising. I have not tried painting on a real canvas maybe one day I will try something
