I watched both XD I didn't know there was a dubbed version until after I finished the sub one, sooooo I went back and watched the dubbed through :3

Yeah I've got friends who have watched the subbed & say they can't stand the dubbed, but I've only got the dubbed version so I've only watch that :) (Smile) I love it though, everytime I watch Soul Eater & Spirit comes on I'm like 'TAMAKI!' or when Death the Kid 'HIKARU!!' or Tsubaki 'RENGAI!' & even Giruko 'KYOYA!!' XD

omg! XD I personally love the dubbed version of ouran better, but some of the other things on Funamation's website that they've dubbed are TERRIBLE. I don't know if you've ever watched it or cared to watch it but they have an anime they dubbed called The Future Diary (in Japanese and the easier way to find it, its Mirari Nikki) but anyways they mainly have a subbed but they dubbed it and it is terrible! But anyways yes I agree with your friends sometimes like in the matter of a show when they have it subbed then dubbed sometimes the subbed is better XD

Yeah, Japanese voice overs will always sound more natural but sometimes the expressions in English dubbed (like in Ouran or Soul Eater) are just perfect :3 For me, once you start a series with subbed, always stick with sub & if you start a series dubbed, stay dub XD
