Thanks for the kind message on my photo "Tomorrow" and "Yesterday".
I agree with you that "tomorrow" shot caputured better variations of the subtle colors. But regarding the compositon, I think "Yesterday" is the better shot than "Tomorrow". Normally people seem like being comfortable about centered objects, because it is easy-going balance. I personally prefer off-centered picture to weigh my emotion on the other unbalanced side.

Oh, forgot to mention...it's much different than Keeper of the Light. That one was done by sandwiching the negatives.

haha, there you are!

It's one exposure, about 5 or 6 minutes (don't remember exact times, as it was taken about 2 years ago). I left the shutter open, had the guy stand in one spot, painted him with my big ol' Maglite flashlight for about 10 seconds, then shut it off, moved him, and repeated the process.

Simple, yet effective. I think the only problem was focusing. I tried, but failed. Still looks cool though.

As for the camera...no it is indeed over a grand for the body, but I got it for $400.00.
I am a true fan of Minolta, but when someone offers you a $1400.00 camera body for $400.00 you take it no matter who makes it.
I mean really now....you know me better than that! hah
