Also I saw you were at Bournemouth uni studying animation, can I ask how you found the course/uni? Currently struggling to narrow down my UCAS application ^^

I did one year 3d computer animation master course there. it was tough. lots of assignment to do. I remembered some of the students Β had to live in the class with sleeping bags, myself stayed a few nights there. we get to learn a wide range of things, however I think some of the things like maths, coding and writing essays are not necessary. Β I feel didn't learn enough piratical skills when I came out, and struggled to find a job. to be honest, I regret going to uni, I wish I signed up to online course like Animator mentor or Feng zhu school. they will definitely make you a better artist, and worth the money, since uni fees are too high now. I hate wasting time writing Essays and learn useless stuff. but that is just my personal experience. I guess you are applying undergraduate course, I do not know much about it. might be OK. Β but living in Bournmouth is great, nice weather and beach. Β good luck with your search. Β

you are welcome. I heardΒ University of Hertfordshire is pretty good for 3d animation and games, know a lot people in the industry went there. depends what you want.

Yeah that's one of my options ^^ You have the opportunity to switch courses at the end of 1st year to 2d/3d/games/vfx

I am doing 3d computer animation at bournemouth uni, the course is sooooooo hard! a lot to learn. we are going to have a group project. we will make a live-action film with CG characters. I am kind of nervous about it~~~~
