Thank you for the very nice comment on my Pacific Golden Plover Hawaii shot. Yes, they were everywhere I visited! That one allowed me to get very close, it must be used to people as it was hanging out at the Japanese Gardens in Hilo (I think). You live at the most lovely state in the union. Lucky you! (Though I missed the cool rain of Washington.....)
