# About me
My name is Casey Hirai I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. I moved over to Los Angeles 6 years ago to study at Otis College of Art and Design. I wanted to pursue toy design as my profession. I am currently a Senior Designer at Spin Master toy inc. I am trying to focus some time and energy on my own personal works and progress myself as an artist. I will be participating in some upcoming conventions over the next few years. My passion lies in creating inspiring pieces of art mostly in the illustration realm, I hope you dig some of my work! It went awesome! I was totally not expecting to cover my costs of the booth and the prints but I exceeded my expections! I met a lot of cool people, you being the first to contact me through my networks! I'm glad you are thinking of doing it next year! I will be there for sure

That's great to hear. Who did your prints, or did you print and cut them yourself? And what paper were they done on? I've been thinking about archival stock, but I know there are alternatives. I think my buddy and I are going to partner up the way you did. So yeah, any advice you can give me would be great. Good to hear from you!

Hey Tanoshiboy sorry for the late response! I am currently printing my stuff at Westside print shop in Culver City. They have pretty good rates I am doing it on thick pound paper I'll have to look over my invoice for specifications. They've been pretty decent so far--check them out on their website and see if they've got the kind of paper you're lookin' for! hope your work is going well!

Thanks for coming out at wondercon! sorry for the late response man! I use Full Glossy Kromekote.. seems to turn out pretty good! I'm finding some new print vendors but they are a little further out.. Anyway, I'll let you know if I find about any vendors that are better!

Hey Tanoshiboy I found my invoice for Westside Print Store: the paper I used was White Gloss Kromekote @ a heavy poundage. Hope this helps and good luck with your prints!
