Just letting you know; I've decided to shutdown the Puyo Nexus Imageboard to restart it fresh. The new policy may require artist information and permission for every non-official image posted. I know for you the damage is probably already done and I don't expect you to allow any of your art to be there, but I want to prevent any other bad relations if possible - so let me know any thoughts you have.
One idea I had for artists who we were unable to contact (e.g. images obtained from places like pf2sig, which didn't show artist info, iirc.) was to save the image in our database, but upon clicking the thumbnail, go to the original page. I don't know how acceptable that is.

Uhg, looks like I jumped the gun on this, I pushed very hard and i was the only one supporting this position.
Sorry :\ Unexpected outcome. Originally it was going to happen until another admin randomly debated me out.
On the other hand, we're going to try to make sure there are no more "artist unknown" pictures. If you want to support the OFP position against Nexus, contact known puyo artists and have them complain to us. I can't do anything - the other admins don't take the current complaints to heart because they don't believe they represent the majority. I can't argue that they do.
For now, the Imageboard will become private for members only. This is beyond my control.

you said you never steal artworks,
but we think using artworks with no permission is same as steal.
for us, what is important is their permission, not the artist tag or URL.
As far as you continue using them without asking, it would not be settled, unfortunately.
