Well for one I like how you're not a coward. In the sense that you don't quit and block people, and that you will be a total jerk to somebody you don't like, in other words you speak your mind, I like to see that. Although I'm PRETTY sure I don't write torture porn. I think.
And sorry if I was a douche yesterday I was really pissed after that sucky day.
But as for that rule I'm not the one who made it I actually read it in some MLP fan comic that had Twilight talking to writers and she said that a famous writer said that and I'm pretty sure she said it's a rule to make a "good" story, not a rule of writing in general.
And speaking of you are a writer. It doesn't matter if you write nonsensical crap like I do. Or... whatever the type of stuff you write is I wouldn't know because I don't read that kinda stuff and don't know the genera. But as long as it's more then writing a message to person X then you're a writer. I hate how people think you need to have a book or something for people to think you're a writer. Because that's stupid. Now you could aspire to be a professional writer. That makes sense but saying you're an aspiring writer just sounds like you're saying something like aspiring breather.

I didn't see a psychology degree on your DA page so I'm guessing neither of us knows much about human psychology and with that said you don't seem to be in a position to say who's a sick minded person well aside from me I'm pretty awful.
And in my previous statement I said "that whole sadist thing IS NOT LITERAL. You just have to have the willingness to beat the tar out of your characters should the need arise" you pretty much just worded that differently.
Although aspiring isn't that pretentious there are a LOT of stupid people on the internet so I'm just saying expect stupid people to whine about something like you using "big words"
And there's nothing wrong with liking the suffering of fictional characters. There is one outstanding difference between laughing at Rainbow dash dying and laughing at somebody who crashed they're car in the other lane. What happened to RD isn't real so there is no real pain. It's quite narrow minded to just say it's gross or wrong to like torture porn even though I think it's nasty that people jerk off to that kind of thing I just like it for the gore and seeing blood all over the place whether its on my computer screen or in my mind.

Yeah, I never blocked people on dA, even if I got into arguments with them, because I never really thought to. I don't think I even know HOW to block people on dA! XD I block people on YouTube, but that's either really creepy people (as in people I barely know who send me love letters) or people who are just asses for no GOOD reason. So, you don't mean sadist in the "enjoying people's pain" way, and more in a "willing to put characters in pain" way. That makes enough sense.
I think why I dislike gorefics like Cupcakes and Sweet Apple Massacre (if you haven't read that one, don't. It's got rape in with the gore. If you like Cupcakes, I suggest Cheerilee's Garden, though that one is MUCH longer and drags on at times, it takes like twenty paragraphs for each character to die, and there's about 5 deaths, I think. That's not including everything else that goes on.) is because it's MLP. You see, a large reason I love MLP now is because I loved it when I was little, and it gives me a break from the general crappiness of the real world. So, gorefics are a combination of ruining my childhood, and ruining the innocence of the show, which is why I like the show in general. I could pretty easily stomach most gorefics if they were about normal people (except creepy ones that include sex) rather than the ponies I know and love.
I think I saw part of the Cupcakes HD video, but I don't remember it much, except that it was a video of what happened in the story. Was that the one that had death metal playing in the background? Because that's annoying as hell and ruins the atmosphere rather than enhancing it.

Although my advice, stay away from psychology. For one it costs a hollowed out mannequin of Benjamins more importantly there's all the scary things about human nature that you learn, like the telling's of psychological problems. Just think about it's like having X ray vision only instead of seeing bones you see a bunch of organs and that stuff. And by the way you've said you don't like gorefics I doubt you would enjoy being able to tell somebody had something like homicidal tendencies just by looking at them. But I suppose it could also help you steer clear of them. And you could tell who's a narcissist or something like that.
But you watched the old MLP series? I thought those were awful.
And how did death metal ruin the atmosphere? We were seeing/hearing cupcakes from Pinkie's point of view, now call me old fashion but if I have to choose to be the tormenter or the tormented I'd choose the former.
Also that death metal song is "ready to die" by andrew WK. That band is GREAT some of they're songs are kinda sleazy but that ready to die song is great. I once slept to that song.

Yes, I did. I watched G3. I never watched anything before. Nowadays I have seen G3.5, which I don't like, and "Newborn Cuties" which is hell, except at one point you see a house with a sombrero and a mustache. That was cool.
Hey, I was little! Little kids watch all kinds of cruddy stuff. And I didn't watch the cartoon a lot. I was more into the toys. I had enough ponies and playsets to make an entire Pony city.
I dunno, maybe it's just my overall dislike for metal. It's not as bad as rap in terms of musical quality, but it's just not my cup of tea. I prefer other sub-genres of rock (though there are so friggen many that it's hard to tell the difference). It might be my big brother's influence, my tastes in rock music come mostly from him. I blame my family for my odd musical tastes. Oldies and older country from my Dad, pop, musical and newer country from my sister, and rock from my brother. Then there's outside influences, like choir developing my enjoyment of classical, but that's a whole different story.
I dunno, maybe just some sound effects, maybe some creepy music in the background, would have been more pleasing for me.
I'll need to check it out sometime. I've developed a taste for practically any genre, maybe I can develop a better taste for metal.

Oh the things my siblings have influenced me with. In my family we played video games and guess what that does to the youngest? I'll tell you one thing it does NOT make me interested in general reading. I'm so scared that the zombiu one of the Wiiu launch titles is going to be rated M. My folks don't let me play M (for some absurd reason despite the fact they know nothing about video games)
English probably opens some doors for you, I'm planning on going for TV writing (maybe make all those crappy kid shows on nick go away) They've got SOME good shows but most of it is garbage and I would love to change that.
And boy do I envy you. My dad says I can't by pony dolls till I move out of the house... TO BUY A LUMP OF PLASTIC THAT HAS NO DRUGS IN IT. Also there's nothing wrong with watching those I just heard they were awful. But I did see an episode from what I think was the first series and wow it was so bad. The fillies were back hoofedly singing about how they want the foals to DIE literally at one point in the song they said like; if monsters came to gobbles them up we wouldn't mind. All because the foals were getting more attention. Also I think one of them was named baby crwacker.

Ahaha, my brother and sister played some video games but not a lot. My siblings played Mortal Kombat in front of me, and I wasn't very scarred by your opponents being impaled by spikes. My Mom would've freaked if she had known my brother was playing those games in front of me. She wouldn't even let me watch the Simpsons.
Tv writings sounds like a cool idea. Yep, From the 90's through the early to mid 2000's Cartoon Network, Nick and Disney Channel were good, but now they're all crap except for a few gems like Regular Show (I don't care what anyone says I think that's one of the few decent caroons left).
Well, you have to keep in mind, I was little, and I'm a girl. Little girls playing with Barbies and Ponies isn't all that unusual. I tried to get my Dad to be a brony. He watched the first two episodes and he said it was okay, but he seems reluctant when I bring up watching some more episodes.
And, wow, that seems pretty bad. I heard G1 Spike singing and it literally made me want to rip my ears out it was so bad...By the way, are Twilight and Fluttershy in any earlier Gens? I know Dash, Pinkie, and Rarity are in G3, and AJ was in the first gen, but I don't know about the other two.

I dunno, I heard about the sequel, but I didn't read it. Partially because I didn't feel like it, but mostly because I couldn't find it.
I've only read Cupcakes, Rainbow Factory (I didn't pay much attention when I was reading that one, the description of the machine was too confusing for me to understand XD Plus by gorefic standards it's pretty dull), Sweet Apple Massacre, Derpy's Day (which is more of a creepy story than a gory one), part of Cheerilee's Garden, and part of Grand Ponyville Picnic (once again, not a recommended read for you, it's just more pony porn).
