Yeah XD  I'm actually sightly more active than I used to be.  I have a notifier on every browser I use- using this primarily for messaging and returning llamas XD

Basically, you can theoretically send precisely 1 to each member of DA.
Everyone can.
So people go around trying to get people to give them a llama.
Kinda like a game, collection, or popularity contest.

Totally pointless, but I don't mind returning them.

actually I have been working with (google sketchup and unrealEd addicted me to 3D) cinema 4d, Maya, a bit with 3dsmax , vue , but now I have found the most epic application of them all, BLENDER I have stuck with it for almost a year now.

Blender? D8 but that's some free 3d program. It's really that good?
I myself have used Maya (8 and 2009), 3ds (8 and 9), ZBrush, and tinkered with Lightwave as well as Vue (though this is kindof a cheat in my opinion).
My favorites are the main 3- Zbrush for it's easy high-poly modeling and excellent texture painting/zproject features. Maya for it's ease of use. 3ds for it's clear and concise hierarchy and organized layout. All so different yet so similar

How does Blender rank up to them? Why is Blender so good? o_O I will try it if I feel it is worth learning.

I hadn't heard of it before I saw an article in 3D Artist. so I gave it a shot. well of course it lacks some possibilities compared to maya or cinema 4d but having concidered the fact that I will most definitely never be able to afford maya(I grew quite fond of it) or other apps, I have decided to master Blender and the good thing about it is that there are very many custom builds, and you can also use external renderer if there is a need for greater detail(GI)

I never understood why people spoke if they never intended on saying anything.

I figured so. I had been watching Blender for years, but never really touched it. I was first introduced to it by google search when looking up exporters for Halflife. I like to tinker with things. XD
Personally, I thought being that the industry uses 3ds, Maya, and others I'd need to be experienced with them.
So I taught myself using copies my friend gave me. Never did try Blender because I had the rest.
I am pretty good with them all. My only REAL problem is UV mapping and texturing. Because it is tedious.

Sintel is VERY impressive so far. I had never seen that before.

Well, really... in the two times I looked at your page-

I learned how to make animations in Photoshop to finally make a nice, sharp animated DA avatar.
AND I learned how to spam people with DA Muro drawings in their journals. While not nearly as practical... it's just bloody hilarious.

Only thing I feel comfortable doing that with yet is perspective as I have read 3 books on it and it's applications.
