Bloody little kid
Ripped dude
(my friend likes needles and stuff, their dark, but their also lonely, so I dont want something I draw to make them feel sad)

i used to quite often, but i didn't get many viewers, plus i had no mods to get rid of the trolls, so it was just a disaster.

You know what I love about your Quake monster series?
You don't radically alter them to be unrecognizable like id Software did with Doom 3 and Raven software with Quake IV.
Not to mention, you are the first artist who took the polygon limitations of the monsters and translated them well into a more clean and detailed format, without losing any of the feel of the original monster.
Since Quake has been my favorite game since so long ago, your artwork pleases me

thanks, that's exactly what i was going for. too many people put there own spin on something until its no longer a likeness to the original.
i like doom 3 a lot, but its not really doom per say in either levels, creatures or feel.
im a big quake fan too, (though i didn't like quake 4 too), Ive been tempted to give modding it a go in a modern game engine. but i haven't found a fps engine that's grabbed me, or that has a similar tool set to what im used too.

Quake IV did give quite a few neat designs, but I hate it when they took away favorites such as the regular tank, icarus, etc etc
I do love the Darkplaces mod for the first Quake engine, quite a pain to run though since the original engine is so old and not refined like Carmack's latest engines today

you are awesome. they really should remake quake 1

thank you,
yup they should remake quake 1, its really been over looked. though they should only remake it if they can maintain the look and the feel of the old one, too many sequels are out there that ruin a franchise by not understanding the first game/film/book/etc

You're really one of the people who attempts to keep Emerald Weapon alive on here. Good stuff, man!!!
Can I give you a challenge I'd like to see you draw?

Oh my..forgive me, but I seem to have forgotten what I'd like to see. But I just thought up something!
Maybe Cloud should be on his own to finish off Emerald Weapon, 2 of your favourite characters dead as they float on the water, and Emerald Weapon is performing two attacks---Aire Tam, and Emerald Beam [I think that's what it's called], but Cloud is also about to perform Omnislash as the beams from the red core of Emerald shoots out in Cloud's direction...thus becoming the beam.
Cloud could be Near Death, creating a Suspense scene on here, but if you want a title, I'd call it "Final Clash". Maybe you can think of something better.
^^ But I'd definitely like you to try it out. I think you'd be the one who would do it right. I still hate myself for not knowing what I had thought up earlier. But oh well.

hmm, well the probs that i can see are with composition. emeralds huge compared to cloud, so either you zoom out and cloud becomes a speck( as omni slash is a close combat attack) or you zoom in on clouds drama and emerald weapon would only have a very small portion of its self on screen. plus it id be kind of similar to the pic ive already done.
as im writing this im going over loads of combat scenarios in my head (im thinking ultimate end, how ff7 summons would work with the ff11 type system eg cloud fighting alongside the kotr. changing locations like on the sea surface, may be at Juno or in ultimate ends weird pseudo space. switching foes, ruby, sapphire) but all ideas seem to have the core problem of fitting things in the frame.
hmm its a pickle..the concept would work as an animation, or as a series, but not as a one off stand alone
have any other ff ideas?

Wow, I wouldn't really didn't think proportion would be quite a problem...hmm. Would it appear cramming the artwork if the Weapons, Summons, and Heroes were taking different sections of the sheet? I would imagine the Heroes with their summons on the right side, the summons overlapping one another, and the Weapons on the left, overlapping each other too. The greatest background I could imagine in this is Ultimate's End background, like you said.
If you can't really fit it all into one piece, you CAN end up making one hell of a ceiling poster haha.

oh i wasn't suggesting on doing all those ideas in one piece, i was just trying stuff out in my head to get around the scaling issues. the problem exists with 2 characters and above unfort. having someone right next to something huge means that there either drawn tiny (where you cant fit in any detail) or you zoom in to see the detail on the small thing and you can only see a fraction of the big thing.
if cloud was fighting something similarly sized they'd be no issue.

ok i just had an idea, i was thinking of pitting cloud against seph as hes more similarly sized, i was thinking of then putting them in the final battle , then i thought a more powerful scene with the two of them interacting , aeris's kebab scene. so how about a pic with aeris death and the final seph cloud omni-slash battle mixed together?
