A lot of the illustrators from White Wolf roleplaying books really inspired me. Then I started hanging around things like epilogue and conceptart.org and went from there.

Well specifically, it was the Vampire: The Masquerade books that White Wolf published, and the illustrations within them, that interested me. They have a very strong artistic streak in them, unlike things like D&D etc. Artists like Ron Spencer, Jason Felix, Christopher Shy, John Bolton really inspired me.

Have just recently discovered the joy of Opeth via their album Ghost Reveries. Truly amazing stuff, the whole album is seamless and half the time I forget what song I'm listening too.
