yes, tool. yes, bill hicks. and also alex grey. there is a new album coming out. a good friend of mine is friends with the drummer i've actually never tried mushrooms, but i'd like to try psychedelics at some point in my life.

PoochyPaws In reply to buttonsthirdeye [2013-12-20 18:07:22 +0000 UTC]
yay to all those! I too like alex grey and my
buddy was the one who told me he
does the art on some albums of tool I think.
Nice! Maynard and his wife
once came to my local town to promote
their new grape wine I seriously dig the drummer's style,
he's very creative in his drum beats
You haven't tried mushies/boomers/shrooms yet? Hehe haha
oh when you get around to it...you are
in for an amazing treat. Careful though
they can change your life...for the better! I'm
not joking. There's been recent studies how
it can cause mystical experiences.
It changed mine and many other people's
lives. They taste...heehe they taste
sorta like semi bitter peanuts with a hint
of bitter dark chocolate with a dash
of mushroom flavor

well it's official, i like your style. i'd like to try his wine sometime, haha. I saw a documentary or something about it on netflix.
I've heard nothing but good things about mushroom experiences. I've also read that they can be used in a medical setting to help people with depression, anxiety, addictions, and so on. One of my friends says he takes shrooms as something of a sacred medicine that helps him find the answers to all sorts of things. I have heard that they taste really gross, but it probably depends on where you get them and other factors.

oh as for mushies,
yup they kinda do give
you allot of life's answers.
Heh I know it sounds a bit crazy
to someone who never experienced
a level 5 ego demolishing trip

PoochyPaws In reply to buttonsthirdeye [2013-12-21 04:09:24 +0000 UTC]
oh I would be happy to explain more
There's 5 levels of Psychedelic tripping
and each level represents the trips
intensity. 1-2 produces a mild stone
like beer buzz. While 3-5 can be
quite psychedelic and sometimes even
enlightening :3
level 5 is the strongest, and it produces
effects such as thinking you are dying (but that's
impossible, shrooms are less toxic than caffeine)
it also makes you see shapes and rainbows and
walls seem to move a little. It makes the user
have total loss of VISUAL connection with reality.
Your senses stop functioning they way they normally would..
and not but not least, it can and will destroy your
ego (level 5).
When the ego demolishes, you no longer
have pride or ego and you feel that
you are willing to change your ways
and/or do anything to return to sobriety and
most importantly...reality
In other words, think of it as a near death experience
for someone. They almost died, so they are
very happy and grateful to be alive
It's an amazing and one of a kind experience.
It can change some people for the better
lol I like the mushroom icon too

i see.. i've definitely heard songs about that type of experience.
it fascinates me that the earth/universe provides the opportunity
to see behind the veil of the so called concrete reality.
This subject links in very closely, in my mind, to dreams and the dream realm.
some of the dreams i've had are somewhat reminiscent of what i would imagine
a trip to be like.
i don't know if it's a proven fact, but some people say that DMT is
naturally occurring within the body and may be released in dream state
and deeply spiritual moments of consciousness.
i've also had countless dreams manifest on the physical plane
shortly after having the dream. more so recently, it seems.
this conversation has been refreshing!
feel free to hit me up here anytime haha

Yes! and I won't fib, I thought
it was all BS or fake..that is until I experienced it
myself haha. My buddy felt the spiritual
trip before me on mushies, and I told
him you are so full of it lol...then
months later the experience happened to me
and all I was able to say was...Wow!
Hmm dreams can be quite interesting...
Ohes DMT, Yes I believe that is accurate.
It occurs naturally in the human body.
I'm not sure if this is true...but I heard
DMT is also the chemical that releases naturally
in the brain when a person is slowly starting to die,
so the person doesn't get scared or fearful when
it's their time to go. I heard a professor say that we as humans
are programmed to have spiritual life changing experiences.
Why? They are not sure why though.
Also I saw in a video.. a picture of a brain scan
of a person meditating. Then a brain scan
of a person on psilocybin. The brain scans
looked similar to each other which I find
very fascinating!
The weirdest thing about dreams
is when they come true or when they
cause a person to have Deja vu when they are awake
and fully aware days later.
Yes I agree, it's nice to finally
see someone on DA that actually
understands that not all drugs are harmful
and addicting. Some like psychedelics are
safe and not addicting, and have been used
by my Aztec ancestors for centuries!
Yes please feel free to message me here too
It's very fun chatting with you :3

i'm going to consolidate our conversation into one big response, rather than three separate ones
& i believe it can be a very spiritual experience.
i think i heard that somewhere, also,
the dmt release before death.
a fascinating concept, if you ask me.
That IS fascinating!
meditation is a very Powerful practice
most of my time outside of school is spent meditating
or researching various kinds of meditation
or drawing sacred geometry, most recently.
doing so has proven to be Very meditative
i spent 5 hours drawing
and it felt like 5 minutes.
that's one reason i'm studying to be an art therapist
and spiritual healer.
exactly, about the dreams coming true and causing deja vu.
that happens to me more and more frequently these days.
in fact, it happens so often that i feel tempted to tell people when they are in my dreams
because it may just happen the next day.
although, i also like to just observe things as they happen,
without interfering by telling them about the dream.
i say, all things in moderation.
are you referring to ayahuasca?
i've heard that is quite divine.
durian is a strange fruit that i think you can find in hawaii.
it's so strange and delightful.

i also wanted to tell you that i was showing my sacred geo drawing
to my good friend that is friends with the drummer from tool
and she said she thought he would like it
and that if i made a piece of art for him sometime before may
she'd give it to him for me
or try to arrange a time for me to go to a show with her
so that i could give it to him myself.
HOW FLIPPING COOL WOULD THAT BE ?!?!
another thought on the reason for dmt release
and our inherent design to have spiritual experiences
is that we are all one with everything that exists
all one consciousness,
so therefore we all must be growing and developing
together as one for the highest good of all beings.

hmm.... my number one favorite is a white russian with homemade kahlua.
i also enjoy wine from time to time.
hard liquor makes me feel gross, so i don't drink that in any significant amount.
i'll usually give strange things like that a try
sounds gross, tastes amazing.
have you ever tried Durian?
it smells repulsive to a lot of people
and tastes gross to some people,
but i had to try it and i found it to be good!

PoochyPaws In reply to buttonsthirdeye [2013-12-21 13:23:39 +0000 UTC]
ohh white russian, cool cool, haha
I heard those can really mask the hard
liquor taste sometimes.
Yup I agree, liquor is too strong and
makes me sicker lol. But beer
is nice and mild.
Durian? Is that uh bread fruit
or something like that. Yup I heard
it smells bad haha. My cousin
had some and she bought me a
dragon fruit recently too that I
grew the seeds out of and now
have a nice sized Pitaya plant :3
Anyway so you like the taste of it?
hehe cool I gotta try it, my cousin
is the only one I knew who had
the courage to try it hehe
