Another life passes out of the hospital and into the night. Doctors, nurses going about this as they often do and must do. They just do. Families react with predictable distress. The flatline stares in the face of high energy shocks and snakeoil medications. What might of been gets closer to being a purely hypothetical question. I walk out of the room before it is over. The conclusion is all too apparent now. Farewell to someone I never knew and never will.

Thanks so much for the comment on the Marbles in Black and White shot.
Here are the details in case you are interested:
Aperature Priority, Spot Metered, 1/9th sec @ f8.8 with exposure compensation of -1.7
This was actually the first shot I took of the marbles and passed it by on the initial inspection. On the third time through the photos, I chose this one as the first one to post.
Glad I did.

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?
What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.
You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
I offer only the truth, nothing more.
Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill
spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.

thanks for the comment on legitimate!
you would change that sharpened eye, but for me it makes the special about that picture. its a matter of taste i think, because its not from the compression and its not an artifactial look. to me its just a sharp eye in contrast to the soft skin. but thanks for your constructive opinion! next time i will think about a completely soft piece.

Thank you so much for commenting on 'PLEASE DONT LEAVE'
This was my first wedding, I was pretty nervous. I ended up taking almost 17 rolls of film! But they were thrilled with the results
I know about the wall, I learned alot from that wedding.
Thanks again.

Thanks for the comment. I share how you feel about the overabundance of digital experiments. I mean, I love to see it but it lacks the kind of hands on fun that anything in the darkroom can really give you. Thanks again.
