I've just finished my electronic engineering degree in MMU at the end of 2019, currently doing music full time and waiting for my convocation in September
Things have been really great with my career, I had a recent single that landed me artist interviews on Fly Fm and Hitz which just hit over 1 million streams on Spotify!
On top of that, been writing new music and collaborating with other singer songwriters

Internships tend to be 10% work and the rest of the day you do nothing, it was like that too during my robotics internship. I had days where I just played games in the office because my bosses weren't there and I ran out of things to do.
I kinda felt the same way with the "I feel so old now" and realising that's not actually true. Some of my classmates graduated at 27 and I met someone who only had their first job at 28.
When I started working with other musicians in person, I got a lot of "wow you're so young" actually xD
A few weeks ago I had to sit in the studio with 4 other producers and songwriters for a song I'm making who were pushing 30/in their 30s. I was basically a baby to them |D

Finishing uni was very anxiety inducing because I was so used to having a daily structure (going to classes, see friends, do homework, make music afterwards). Now it's like, having infinite time that I don't know how to spend without feeling like a bum or feeling guilty for not working hard enough. :s
I'm actually having the whole USD/MYR exchange advantage from my music income and freelancing (vfx work and music-related work for clients)
My Switch is the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Edition which I bought using my music money :3
I noticed that there's a lot of people that don't know what to do after uni (esp among my peers) and I'm just one of the few lucky ones, having the advantage of starting my music career a whole decade ago :s

Dang… playing games on the job! Mom always tell me to be on my best behavior just so that the CGPA can be bumped up as a result of that. You know, the four horseman of getting a good grades at intern: be punctual, be at your best behavior, do the assigned task and don’t sleep on the job. I mean, she said something about its better to show a good image and look the part of taking the job seriously.
At least somebody had a head start all the way back in school to get you to where you are and I kinda wonder where you went after finding your music in ninetynine lives website. I mean, i always know you as the best artist in class and always be with Sega and compose music still.
Mmmm… yeah… me being the overthinker i am (developed since 2016 as I transitioned from pharmacy to multimedia), i’m trying to make sure i can maximize as much as i can. If plan A is to be an animator didnt go then theres always a backup plan until… i dont have anywhere to go and just wonder what else to do. Ive been trying to shake off this thing, really isnt fun to think a lot. Maybe its just my thing to just keep on thinking and thinking, maximizing potential and be flawless with my work and be praised for it.
I dunno… at this moment, im overthinking about a fact if im still qualified as a graphic designer if i take things i downloaded on free resources website and twist it around to make something new out of it. I mean, when it comes to salvaging things and paraphrase the design, im kinda alright. Geez i wish i could draw, the closes i could get is just doodling and the most recent of illustrations were… just experimental and thoughy to be made into t-shirt design but it seemed i cut it short and stopped since i dont know much or thinking of everyone’s expectation on custom t-shirt design.
Ah, freelancing, how i wish i could but ive been thinking a lot if im still qualified as a graphic designer since my lack of drawing skills really hurts my confidence

I'm still doing a lot of music! Ninety9Lives was my first big breakthrough, getting signed to them was amazing and gave me a lot of opportunities to grow my career. You can still look at my social medias to follow my musical journey
I hope you'll find what you want to do in life but a very close friend of mine told me (when I had a meltdown) "you'll never really stop figuring things out, even when you're like 40, that's just how life progresses and that's okay", because I'm scared that some day I'll just plateau after having done so many things so early and would feel lost
