How good are you at waiting in line Kailey
I hate queues and avoid them at all costs if possible but sometimes they are inevitable.
Thanks for your interest in faving the line of gulls

Thanks for faving my camel portrait. I still feel queasy from riding one in the Dubai desert.
“On horseback you feel as if you're moving in time to classical music; a camel seems to progress to the beat of a drum played by a drunk.” ~ Walter Moers,
Glad you shared the 'beauty' of the beast Kailey

Our brief experience of snow has gone for now. Unlike the Inuit people with many words
for snow, if it does fall in the UK we only have one word for it - chaos
Glad you liked the snow scene enough to fave it Kailey

Snow is a very, VERY rare thing where I live. And if we do get it, it melts as soon as it hits the ground. But it is funny that if the snow happens to stick for a few hours it's almost like all of Texas shuts down. We're all too awkward with snow to now how to live with even the smallest dusting of it.

If you very rarely see it you can understand the chaos it creates. No one's going to invest in clearing it under those circumstances but we always expect some - still no adequate investment though

Hi, I meant to comment on one of your pictures, but I commented to the wrong person by accident. I know I'm just a random person, but I was wondering if you could tell me a few things about a couple of your Transformers figures? I'm looking to buy my first one.

I just saw where you posted the original question. You wanted to know about Generations Thundercracker? He's pretty fun. I like his design and he's fun to pose. Anything specific you'd like to know?

GalaxyGirl5 In reply to brainenuggets [2017-04-28 21:15:28 +0000 UTC]
So, he's articulate enough? Do you think $23 is a good price for it? It's loose, but in perfect condition.

brainenuggets In reply to GalaxyGirl5 [2017-04-28 21:29:26 +0000 UTC]
Oh yeah. Great articulation in the arms and legs, nice head swivel and tilt, a little wing flap motion. Also, I really like his balance. He's standing on one leg with his arms and other leg flailing on a box on my bed right now. He's all about the arts, you know. He's trying out interpretive dance or something. Haha!
I mean, if he's in good condition then I'd absolutely go for it for $23!

Would you call it your favorite version of TC you own? (I understand if you can't choose between your figs, though x3)

Well, there are other versions I'd love to have, but I don't have the money for them. I think this Generations Deluxe is fantastic and I love playing with him. I also like my Arms Micron TC because I'm a big fan of the TFP design. But in all honesty, this TC is the one I'm most likely to reach for. Actually, he's almost always within reach because I think he's so fun.

brainenuggets In reply to GalaxyGirl5 [2017-04-28 23:46:15 +0000 UTC]
Mmm.. maybe you have me confused with someone else's comics. I only have Kreon, Generations Deluxe Class, and Arms Micron Thundercrackers at the time. I think there are, like, 4 different Generations TCs. Legends, Leader, Deluxe, and just Generations. Mine is the Deluxe Class.

Maybe I have a name mixed up. right now, I'm torn between this one: i.ytimg.com/vi/Y2_TYCA5FoU/max…
and this one: static.seibertron.com/images/n…
Kinda leaning towards the latter, the one I said was $23.

Ohh I see now. I had your comics mixed-up with 'the-starhorse's. Well, I do appreciate you answering my questions about the first figure. Are there any downsides to it?

brainenuggets In reply to GalaxyGirl5 [2017-04-29 00:32:27 +0000 UTC]
I don't have any complaints about mine. Yeah, as I was reading your questions I kept thinking of Starhorse's comics. That TC does look pretty good and seems posable enough. Have you looked up review videos for him on youtube?

GalaxyGirl5 In reply to brainenuggets [2017-04-29 01:06:01 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, but none have really satisfied me. I think I'd get more satisfaction out of asking someone myself, who plays with the figures.

It looks like the-starhorse hasn't been active lately, though. You don't suppose you know anyone who owns a Generations classics figure do you?

brainenuggets In reply to GalaxyGirl5 [2017-04-29 01:18:57 +0000 UTC]
Not off the top of my head, no, but just looking at Starhorse's comics, Generations Classics look really nice. They seem to have good balance and she gets them in some great poses.

I took a look at your figure on eBay, and I found one for $18 and 4.5 stars. How's that?

brainenuggets In reply to GalaxyGirl5 [2017-04-29 01:35:28 +0000 UTC]
I'd consider that a good price. Whichever TC you decide to get, I hope you enjoy him.

I nearly submitted another version of "Pretty flamingo..." rotated 90 degrees anti-clockwise.
Try turning your computer screen 90 degrees that way to show this - it looks like a
scene from 'Alice through the looking glass' - totally weird and disturbing I think...
Sorry I got sidetracked there Thanks for the fave of the original image Kailey
