Although I collect a lot of things, my main focus is fluorite. I also like azurite a lot, zeolite minerals, and rare minerals, particularly copper and phosphate minerals.

As for actual rockhounding, I don't live in a very mineralogically interesting area, so rockhounding is limited for me unless I go out of my way to drive hours away. Some minerals I've collected in the past: zeolite minerals (ferrierite), sulfide minerals (galena, sphalerite, pyrite, etc.), quartz, calcite, and most recently gypsum/selenite var. desert rose. Sounds like a lot but honestly I don't have many rockhounding opportunities.

I mainly collect meteorites, tektites and fossils. I live in a pretty good area for minerals, but the rocks that I collect come from shops near me that I go to and rock shows that I go to.

Yeah, I'm asking what you mean by gemstones though. Do you mean stuff that is cut into gems, or rough gem crystals?

I have some gem minerals that I collect and I've posted some already, but if you're talking about cut stones, I don't really collect those, though I do have a few. They're probably too small for me to photograph in any sort of high quality for my camera though.

I have cut stones, just not a whole lot of them. They're pretty small so I'm not sure how well they'll end up being photographed.
