Good overall. Oldest is sick with a cold right now though, so that sucks--and my throat feels a little scratchy as well. Blah! But as I said, overall things are good. Even getting some commission work in here and there! Er, mostly crochet, but I am working on a drawing. Lordy lou, it's been years since I had a drawing commission. I'm not very active on DA either. I saw the demise of Artspots, and that's more or less what brought me back. I didn't post much anymore, but I did lurk for a few minutes on AS from time to time, and I was really sorry to discover they'd shut down. /end novel

I abandoned the AS ship about 8months ago, never to return. Kept having to be the bad guy, and it was getting really old. Let's face it, Higgins didn't want to continue and there is no amount of kumbayah that's gonna fix that. I'm more active (LOL!! YEAH RIGHT!) over on FA, but mostly just cute little sketches when I have time. The pony bug has bitten me, so I want to get some pony ideas down in the near future. *shot!*

I was frustrated at his lack of participation as well. People can throw around ideas all day long, but if the site owner isn't going to actually work on anything, what's the point? Sucks that you had to be the bad guy--I wasn't around to witness that I guess. I always liked your bluntness, personally--why beat around the bush?

He started wanting me to make exceptions for so-and-so, and wasn't really willing to back me up on the rules we all agreed on. *SHRUGS* My enforcement was rather pointless if he could veto anything that needed doing. It sucked rocks EVEN WORSE once you went on maternity leave. I hear Nabyn(?) is the latest place to hang out, but I'm lukewarm about "serious art" nowadays. I just doodle as the mood strikes.

Yeah, same. I don't have time to keep working at it like I used to. Maybe when Nora is older again, but homeschool takes up more time than it used to when it was just cutting and pasting shapes. XP Oldest is 6 now and learning to read and add, so I have to be more dedicated now. Between that and crochet, my time is pretty well spent, sad to say. I could squeeze a little more out of my down time, but my heart's not in it right now--too tired! LOL!
