I have this routine when my work is favorited: Go through that person's favorites to check out their taste, look at their work to check out their style and maybe pay some respects, then look at the profile. I saw Jes somewhere among all of that (in a comment, I believe) and thought it was awesome that you liked my stuff.
PS, I might be a little bit addicted to your writing. I only ever read people's work on dA if I watch them and they've posted something new. When I login to check messages and deviations now, I find myself wanting to go through your older works. (I hope that didn't come off sounding creepy.)
