pretty cool avatar your club has, but it's too bad that Dracula nor Alucard are Belmonts ^_^

it's a nice game. has solid or really good graphics and sound, but the best thing is the gameplay. i enjoyed it. it is sure one of the best gba games.

I've played it, and from what I can tell you, yes it is very good.

furikku In reply to Teshu [2004-06-14 19:09:51 +0000 UTC]
It's apparently sort of like a rehash of Symphony of the Night.
I think it sucks because it has neither Dracula nor a Belmont in it, but then I haven't actually played it. According to friends of mine who are less biased, it's pretty fun.

It actually has both a Belmont, a Belnades, a certain someone with the middle name Farenheight, and of course, Dracula himself. Check it out it you're still skeptical

furikku In reply to belmont-clan [2004-06-20 23:15:22 +0000 UTC]
Okay, correction: It does not STAR a Belmont, nor does it REALLY feature Dracula. That's like making a Batman movie, only Batman has a walk-on role and there's someone pretending to be the Joker. It's a ripoff!

Let me ask you this: Have you beaten the game with the best ending? Or at least gotten the bad one? Because... heh heh.... Dracula isn't absent from the game at all. Quite the contrary in fact...

furikku In reply to zargon-yokoshima [2004-08-01 18:29:07 +0000 UTC]
Yes, yes, I know the "Sooper seekrit" ending thing.
It's still a copout. I want a game where Dracula is his sexy self, the main enemy, and being totally awesome, not some secret surprise ending.

Well, I rented LoI last week. Pretty decent, although a little boring at times. The graphics are great, but that does nothing for the fact that the backgrounds are reeeeeally repetative. Sheeze, for a vampire, this huy Walter sure has a lot of abandoned churches in his castle. The music is great, and the battle system is pretty good too. I didn't get very far, but that was mostly due to the fact that I was drawing like a madman! I DO plan to rent it again, or perhaps even buy, should I come into a large sum of money.

Yays, I have a PS2 now (or rather my sister does), so now I can consider getting LoI! Tell me, is it worth the 50 bucks?

From what I hear, it's a decently fun action game, but a bit short and underdesigned as far as castle layout.
Its music is the sweetest yet, though.
Although I'm pretending it doesn't exist, canon-wise, because they screwed up the previously established canon so much. >_<

it is the best Castlevania game in 3d. it's not a second SotN though. the sequel on ps2 or ps3 will be sure better.

**POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT FOR LoI**
Read no further if you've not finished or actually care about how the game ends
I have found out that LoI apparently has no Dracula in it, thus earning it Worst Place for the Castlevania awards. Okay, Second Worst, because it at least has kickarse music and it's got better gameplay than CV64. Although Drac in that game was damn sexy.

~^^~ if anyone ever wondered I played around 4 hours of Lament of Innocence (why did my brother had to go away with it WHY!?) and I was addicted its the game that made me discovered the Castlevania series!!! ^.^
anyway I won't say much about it. I don't want to spoil the fun for everyone here

I got some art inspired from Castlevania; if anything maybe someone can give me an idea of how to color the 2nd one; should I do it up like it Aria of sorrow or go in a different way?

Having only observed it from videos and whanot, I can't comment on the gameplay, although I hear that, yeah, the levels could use some excitement.
One thing I can definitely say- the music ROCKS! Downloaded mp3s from the CV Dungeon, and MAN! It's better than SotN! *Jams to LoI music*

I heard somewhere that LoI had great gameplay, but boring level design. Kinda the opposite of the 64 games, huh?

Wow, it has an M rating, too...it must really kick ASS! I'll be getting a PS2 when the holidays are over, since the price will probably drop, and that's the first game I'm getting.

yea, ok, i just got it ^__^ it is good, has fantastic graphics, but, it isn't the greatest castlevania game. It is a bit watered down so far. It's certainly worth checking out, though i'm acctually not gunna say it's the greatest out of the series, becasue it's not. It is certainly good though! check it otu!
