It's not as insanely far out as it sounds (sounds somewhat closer when described as my second cousins' baby (half) sister), but still. I don't even like the kid. She was rather quiet, though, so at times I forgot she was even there.

Vacant, I should think. I have my theory, though, which I call zombie sapiens. Say we have a zombie virus, right? A virus takes over ones system. But what if it never can control all of the brain? What if it only controls motor functions and the automatic functions, what if it never can control the cognitive parts? And that would also explain why zombies eat brains, they crave that last bit of control over a body. And the ex-human's mind is able to observe all its body does, but not able to control it.

Well, it's not much different. They're a lot closer, sure, but I still don't see them that much. It was different when we were smaller, but nowadays we see each other mostly at family events.

Well, then it's just awkward. Our family is a sick collection of handball loving people - and me - so it all runs rather smoothly. Though it's uncomfortable with my one uncle (who doesn't live in the county, fortunately) after I laughed at a grimace he was making this summer, and it turned out it was his actual face. AWKWARD. Months before I'd been told about his temporary condition, but SHEESH I THOUGHT THAT WAS DONE BY THEN.
I'll know when to run, then, when you bring that sword to school.
