I thought a conure would make sense. Because Chip is loud, (thanks to Pop), likes bright colors and likes many animals for they fascinate him a lot as well as Minette. But since she has a squid to swim with (though he sleeps on her head), I thought Chip would like to either fly or hand-glide with his pet bird. XD

Why not do a few sketches of him with different animals and see which suits him as a companion. But either way, in the end, it’s all your choice on what animal he’ll have. I think a bird would be a wonderful pet for him.

Though Chip hopes to one day be like their Pop. Both he and Minette are striving to be like their fathers for different reasons. With Chip hoping to be strong while Min hopes to be compassionate.

Val thought Cup may have a better grip on their son if he decides to get into trouble. She will punish him if he acts badly, (which he does, but not towards loved ones), but she isn't severe like her husband in terms of raising their voice and such.

While Cala on the other hand is like this while she wishes to keep Mug as the kind and gentle soul she fell in love with. So she will raise her voice if her kids decide to misbehave. (To which they haven't, at least not to their parents. When Min babysits with mom and dad away, that is when her siblings misbehave.)

It's mainly his youngest son and only daughter who can be a handful. But his eldest Latte is laid back and babysits them. Out of all three of them, Chip gets in trouble. A lot. Which prompts Cup to call him "Jr" but only when he's mad. Chip knows he's in trouble if he were to hear this for example, "Chip! I'm not going to tell you again!" XD

The five babies will listen to their parents and their older sister Minette, but when mom ad dad are gone, they wish to explore the vast ocean because they don't want their parents to freak out. But Min goes to chase after them and bring them back so her mom won't be upset and her dad won't have a near heart attack. XD
