Ohgods it's so hard to pick just one... There's sooooo many, but for the longest time it was Eevee. I still absolutely adore Eevee, but I think Espurr's kinda taken the #1 spot for the meantime. In fact, my icon is my Espurr gijinka. = v = Other than that, there's also Emolga, Dewott, the entire Cyndaquil line, Riolu and Lucario, Victini, Buizel, Meowstic, Chespin...so, so many.

Haha wow that's a nice list there~ Design-wise it's hard to pick. One of my favorites is probably Archeops though simply because it's xy model animation is a spaz xD I also like the usual culprits Aggron, Lucario, Charizard, Feraligatr... Then pachirisu, skiploom and of course eevee. My absolute favorite though is Swellow because it's the first pokemon I leveled to 100 and has kickass speed to boot. Not to mention I had a phase of obsession with neck v markings 0-0;

It kind of is, for a lot of people. Then you get the people who just keep playing no matter what. Kudos to them! I've been thinking about doing some Nuzlocke's for over a year now. Maybe before the end of the year I'll actually start one, lol.

Yess, I very much want to get a new game that I can play through as a Nuzlocke from the get-go. Hopefully the new games are as interesting as the original Hoenn was. If you're going to start one what game are you gonna use?

Well, they haven't failed with a remake yet, in my opinion (loved LeafGreen and SoulSilver~), so I bet the Hoenn remakes will be great -- especially with the new graphics and features they did for XY~

Hmm... I'm not sure. A part of me wants to start from the first gen, so I might do one FR or LG. Otherwise I might do one for X or Y.

Indeed, though I find the newer regions leave something to be desired >> 

The only thing I dislike about FR LG is the dumb help feature. So useless, such a waste of two perfectly good buttons.

The back stories to the characters are all lacking, they don't really leave an impact any more. The only characters I've liked or found that people mention often were N, Cynthia and the player trainers. I also find the new criminal teas slightly ridiculous but then again who doesn't. 

Yeah you activated it whenever you pressed the L or R button and it did dumb things.

Tbh, I never really noticed much of a backstory for characters until N. Or maybe I was just too busy playing out my own story in my head as I played the games. Who knows... But I really like the new generations, but again...that could just be because I have my own story play out in my head as I play, lol. But I don't deny that the villains have gotten increasingly ridiculous. Lysander had potential (I mean, he wanted to kill everyone!) but he could have been done better. His henchmen, though...were just.......... why.

Oh. I don't think I ever pressed those buttons, so that would explain why it never bothered me. ^ ^;;

Yeah... it's better with characters from g3 and before, excluding those like Cynthia and N. LOL the history of henchmen tho, I actually liked the designs for them up until Plasma then I was like, ew your outfits how can you stand wearing that.

Rocket and Galactic are probably my two favorite villain groups. Rocket's just classic and Galactic's goal was interesting. Plasma and Flare were pretty weak...it's like the creators were desperate for a new evil group, so they just threw something together at the last minute and kinda contradicted themselves (Plasma wants to free Pokemon...yet they're using Poke Balls... Flare wants only beauty in the world...yet...well, you get the idea lol).

Aqua and Magma... Well, I actually don't have much of an opinion on them. I played Emerald a bajillion years ago and thought their goals were pretty stupid, but I was too focused on getting Rayquaza to care. xD;;

I'm with you on those haha. Though I am partial to Aqua and Magma simply because I like their outfits. much better than galactic and plasma in my opinion, DEFINITELY BEATS FLARE UGH the contradictions tho are lame as hell. LAMEEE.

I gotcha on that. Gotta catch dat 'Quaza tho. Totally want it to get a mega form just so it'll be competitively viable ;^;

They are pretty good outfits. And yeah, the outfits for the last 3 groups have been...well... xD Plasma did do a little better in the sequel though, but still could have been much better, I'm sure.

I would totally dress up as a magma or aqua grunt, or even rocket simply because comic relief in the anime is funny. 

Agreement, I mean it shouldn't be impossible to make a space-based outfit look stylish, unique AND child-friendly.

I'd definitely dress up as a Rocket grunt. I just like the group the best. xD

And it's not hard to make a group supposedly based on beauty not look like a bunch of Ronald McDonald followers... (Yes, I know, they were orange, not yellow and red... but yellow + red = orange! ...plus I couldn't help but think of clowns every time I saw them.)

I don't think we'll ever truly understand what goes on in their heads. I mean, they made a Pokemon made out of garbage...

Now, I'm not saying the first generation was full of fantastic design ideas (Voltorb, Electrode, Diglet, Dugtrio -- just a few of the incredibly simple designs that were probably from random 2 second doodles)...

...but garbage?

I think they're sending us some subliminal 'keep the planet green' message >.< we get enough of that from Disney and Nickelodeon. It's pretty much another attempt at Muk and Grimer but making it less potentially endearing at any point or level. I mean at least Grimer and Muk have a nice color scheme, but with Trubbish and Garbodor it's just like, hey let's barf up some colors, maybe look through a garbage can or something.
