I've been MIA for YEARS and you're the first artist I'm visiting. Aaa.. nostalgia. I am getting back into drawing. I can't believe I have abandoned my art for so long. Work was just so time consuming that I never made time for myself. Glad to see you're still posting

Hey! So this is gonna sound really weird but, I'm so happy right now to see that you've continued to make amazing works of art all these years later. I fell in love with your work over a decade ago, stumbling across them on Gundam Wing websites across the internet. I remember how inspired I was to create my own fanart so that I could be just as good as you. But here I am at almost 30, being a boring adult that only takes care of the kids and works, day in and day out. Stumbling across your work again, though, has sparked something in my heart and inspired me once again to pick up my pencil and make time to once again do what I love, like you have. You are a great artist and an awesome person and I hope life brings you happiness and love. Keep up the great work!

Oh wow I just realized it's been years since I've checked out your gallery, then the other day I re-read Teamwork and then realized I didn't even know if you're still writing it...so after reading through your comments and journals I've come to the conclusion it's dead? I just wanted to clarify for sure because that way I can stop hoping lol!

Wow, can't believe I've missed this gallery for 6 years. I do apologize for the long, long oversight.
So, then, this is my first visit to this gallery, though I've been tracking you for a while on HF. I really, really enjoyed being here and wandering the various hallways of your site. So many different styles, all implemented with careful artistry and homage to their history. Most manga-derived, but some less so. This kind of experimentation is not too common here at dA, and to be so successful at each one is even more unusual. It's clear you're pretty much a romantic, and that's okay. What's even nicer is that you don't make the kind of art that drowns the viewer in sappiness. Everything is quite tasteful, and you let your pen strokes and your color palette carry the meaning.
I'm looking forward to returning again soon.

What do you think of Karin's reunion? She is not a willing to rejoin Sasuke as the English version suggests according to Japanese readers.

I don't read Japanese and have not read anything about her from Japanese readers. The only thing I think was that Sasuke's apology was half-assed and offhand, and Kishimoto didn't give it any serious weight by not even showing his face, so clearly it's supposed to be a joke scene and therefore not to be thought about too ~deeply~. (it didn't amuse me. :/ )
(Though you have to be aware that often Japanese characters/people will say "well since it's like that I have no choice" and what they mean is that there was a choice of either inconveniencing the other person, or going "oh well i didn't mind that much anyway so i'm doing it For You because I care about your wellbeing/opinion/whatever". It's also often used as a "I wanted you to ask/beg me/make me feel my action/presence is important before I said yes" thing where the character was probably going to do it anyways or was not that opposed to it. If that's what Karin said then it doesn't necessarily imply she was forced.)

I hated it when I first read it, then got my hopes up reading SasuKarin support essays.
For Kishimoto to bring her back like that, she better do something amazing and win Sasuke's heart, otherwise it would have been better to KILL HER when Sasuke was at his worst. Better fate then completely destroying her character?
I actually have hope that she is still going to shine despite 627.

I personally hope she's faking it and while she still thinks he's hot she doesn't love him anymore, and is pretending to go along with it so no one gets suspicious/attacks her for knowing things and not being under anyone's control anymore.
It's fairly obvious Sasuke doesn't take his bond to her seriously at all, and worse, *neither does Kishimoto*, because if he did then he would have given Sasuke some facial expressions of actual remorse and an apology that actually said what he was sorry for and that he knew it was a horrible thing, instead of something that sounds like "sorry I finished the last ice cream when I knew you were keeping it for yourself", and Karin a serious reaction, closeups on her face and eyes. Instead the panel time was all made up of humorous body language, and that's very telling.
I've seen some arguments that say the "sorry" used by Sasuke was like... intimate/special, but that's complete bullshit, it's a sorry that's not that deep and is mostly used between chief and working subordinate. :/ All that to say, the Sasuke&Karin storyline is going to stay onesided. (I'd like it better zero-sided at this point, Sasuke doesn't deserve her and I hate how after she finally gained some strength and pride instead of HIM crawling back to apologize, which I would have loved, she's the one who's like ... ohhh sasuke-kun iyaaaan you're too cool to stay mad at~. Ffffff.)
She better get some seriously smart/badass moments though, I'll get so pissed off otherwise.
