# About me
What's up DA? I suppose it's about time that I update this thing, lol. I'm a practicing media artist based out of central Texas. I do a little bit of everything, I suppose. These days, I primarily focus on 3D modeling and design for film and gaming. However, I routinely dabble in more traditional media to keep things interesting. If you have any questions about my work, free to contact me.

No problem. Good luck on your thesis. I'm taking my first 2D class. Its fun, but a lot of work. Is there any software other than Toonboom that you would recommend?

other than Toonboom or flash, I would recommend TVPaint. the only problem is that its exclusively for PC and is stupidly expensive. I actually use Photoshop and After Effects for my animation but I wouldn't recommend it, its a slower more thorough process, but awesome if you learn how to use it correctly.
Its always better to stick with paper and pencil in the beginning. you learn better when you are physically touching the drawings

Well, I do my animatics with Photoshop and After Effects. So, it wouldn't be much different. How do you set up your timing, though?

No problem. Did you use more oil pastel, or paint. It has a good sense of motion.

More oil pastel; I've fallen in love with oil pastels (since I've finally gotten some nice quality ones) and thank you!

Oil pastels are fun, and they blend nicely. Have you tried contΓ© crayons? They are like oil pastels but you get a lot more pigment. If you like messy stuff, definitely try india ink.

Oh no, thanks for the advice though. I don't need something messy, I'm messy enough as it is--most everything I own has paint stains
