I used to draw only with grey pencil but i moved to colours lately anyway.
took a while before i got the hang of it ^_^

Yes, that's pretty much it. I normally use those media, in that order too. Believe me, I know artists who make me feel exactly the same way. Wonderful thing about it is though: Makes me want to work even harder, so one day I might reach their skill level.

what paper do you use??? i got some special marker paper but i dont know if aquarell will stay on that since its waxed to prevent bleeding

Exactly.
I normally use Mixed Media paper, from different brands. It's always a bit of a trial-and-error to find the paper perfect for you. And it's always good to change it from time to time, since different paper behaves in different ways. That way you will have to work a bit harder and you're staying a bit more flexible. ^^

And not Germany. I'm from Switzerland. Though if you prefer we can write German, it's no problem at all. ^^

haha, ist mir egal
doch mein Deutsch ist nicht perfect aber reicht ja.
i tried to paint with tea on special marker paper yesterday, so ill see what comes out still not ready with the drawing yet. but when its finished ill scann it in and upload it ^_^

thanks for the tips n stuff because markers are a pretty new medium to me and still have to improve my skills with them. but like we say in the Netherlands: oefening baart kunst. (practise makes art) ^_^
