Oh no, I'm not a pro at all. But I feel honored that you think so!
Drawing is just a hobby for me. I always liked to draw, but I started to take drawing seriously when I was around 12 years old. That's 8 years of practicing until now. You just have to be patient. Drawing skills develop over a very long time and I still think I have to improve a lot to actually become a really good artist.
Your drawings already look pretty good! How old are you by the way?

When I draw I try to convey a certain feeling, atmosphere or personality. But I actually think that having fun while drawing really is the most important part! It sounds simple, but my drawings mostly end up horrible if I try to draw something when I'm absolutely not in the mood for it. Art shouldn't be something that is forced because you just want to get better at it. I did this for a long time and it certainly was the false motivation. Practicing is a good thing but you shouldn't overdo it and draw something just for fun every now and then.

I think drawing skills don't really depend on your age, more on the time you spent with drawing. I just asked your age out of curiosity since I'm going to be 21 in two days.

yes, it happened to me too when i was not in the mood, i keep tearing the paper
though lately it rarely happened anymore, since i do it on pc
by the way, what do you do if you cant get the imagination clear on your mind when you wanna draw something?

Sorry for the late reply! I had a lot of things going on the last few days, so I couldn't make it earlier.>___<
Ah, I also tried to draw on PC some time ago, but I really missed the feeling and scent of real colors on paper. But I still envy people who can handle it because you can do a lot things you'll never be able to draw with traditional media!
Before I start to draw I often do some scribbles on a different piece of paper first, that really helps me a lot. The image I've got in my head is often quite blurry and I can only imagine it right when I see it on paper. It can be a really fast and small sketch, you could also try to draw different versions of the motif you've got in mind. The first idea or image you get is not always the best. But that's just the way I do things, so I hope my advices are at least a bit helpful for you.

Yeah, sometimes i feel it's easier for me if i just draw the sketch on paper first, then i just scan it
But sometimes there are timea when i've been in front of my pc with the idea in mind, and the mood is already at peak.
If i just sketch it in paper i'd just waste my time to do the scanning.
But maybe it is just me lacking of skill.
Must practice more
