I actually think that style of sleeves (the red bit that can double as pockets, and I'm totally serious, I kept my cell phone in my sleeve pretty much the whole night) is actually called a Spanish sleeve

I think that it may be. I'm not for sure though. The cincher reminds me of German dresses of tudor england. is that the inspiration? I noticed the french hood too. its nicely done and looks very clean.

tudor england was definitely a huge inspiration, and somehow that got mixed with a victorian skirt...not sure how that happened in my brain but it works
