Hey, thanks for all your comments. I like your work! I like Poland, too, I would love to visit someday. My great-grandfather Victor Kochzanzky came to America from Poland.

Yes. Since I can't afford to travel to Europe, I have learned to make pirogi and golabki at home. I find it comes naturally, so that must be in my blood, too! I would like to learn to speak Polish, but there are so many languages I want to learn! I speak some German and I am learning Russian right now. I plan to study Polish, Hungarian, and Czech next!

Thank you! I am having a similar problem with learning Russian right now. There are so many sounds, so many shapes to make with the lips, throat, and tongue that do not come naturally to me. I always wonder what my American accent would sound like to a native speaker, if it sounds silly. I find it easier to read and write in a new language than to speak in and listen to it. Did you have much trouble learning English?

I can understand you fine. You probably could not understand me if I tried Polish, though! I have heard that German is a common second language in much of Eastern and Central Europe. Do you think this is true? I am much better at German than I am at most other languages I try.

Oh yes, I know most countries have their own language. I have heard that German is common as a second language in much of Europe.
