Of late I've failed utterly in keeping up with online acquaintances (and the real-life variety, too) but I wanted to let you know I really appreciated the chunk of discussion you pitched out and that I wrote a couple of three-page essays or so in response and kept stalling out in attempting to condense them.
The thread's here if you feel like revisiting it; either way, sorry I'm so absurdly late getting back to you, and that I tend to be a clumper rather than a splitter in fairy-tale taxonomy, and many thanks again for the opportunity just to think!

Apologies, I see that you do (have a White Rabbit).

You're right, Sarah is definitely the Alice type, wandering through a nonsensical magical world that turns out to be other than what she expected/wanted, and as I recall, Alice in Wonderland definitely influenced the Labyrinth script heavily.

Queens -- even Drama Queens -- rule. They're the real power behind the throne! For one thing, they're the most powerful piece on the chessboard. Who needs a king? :P (Lick)

I agree with you. :D (Big Grin) It was weirdly Cute and Gross at the same time. Which was such a Interesting Contrast in One Book. And I Loved how There was A hint of magic in there, when there didn't Need to be one. It could have Easily been something simple and Normal, but the Magic Part added another whole thing to it and Made it So cool.

He Probably Stopped Existing again. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL Because if he was just a missing Person, there could have been problems, and If He stopped Existing before then I don't think it would have changed this time. O.O But it might have because Door wasn't around....
