Excuse me, Karina? I was just wondering, do you know how to start drawing in the Disney style? Your art style fits the animation style so perfectly, but if you could, do you know what might be a start to draw like that? I ask because if I could at least figure out the style it'd be a better start towards animation. It's no problem if you can't answer, but I just thought you'd be the best person to ask first! :D (Big Grin)

It's all good! :D (Big Grin) Welp, I started doing studies off of Glen Keane's art a few years ago, since his style is the modern "Disney"-esque style :) (Smile) He has really fantastic mastery of gesture and flow in his drawings, and I learned how to sketch from studying his drawings. Also, the book "Drawn to Life" is a really awesome art book of lectures from Walt Stanchfield who taught figure drawing at Disney, and he explains sketching techniques and the "art" side of being an animation artist :) (Smile) I also enjoy looking at art on tumblr for inspiration, and also looking at art style in "art of" books. Another good place to start is to find inspiration from your favorite animated series and movies (art style wise) My influences are Miyazaki, the show Gravity Falls, and many artists on tumblr :) (Smile) Pretty much draw what you want, may it be OCs, fanart, sketches, etc. and find inspiration from a variety of artists

That "Drawn to Life" book looks really helpful. And I've seen a few of those "art of" books! I saw one for How To Train Your Dragon, and then another for Rise Of The Guardians. Thanks for the help, I'll try to check those out. I do have a birthday coming up, maybe I'll ask for those! Wow, this birthday's going to be art-filled. I read the write up on the Otto and Victoria book and it looks so cool! I have an anthology comic book that has a comic illustrated by Brian Kesinger :) (Smile) I love his work! Plus he is a story artist which is awesome
