Hello Deviantart world! My friend asked me to join and look...I did! She says it will help me...god I hope so.Anyways, I'm Amanda, but most people call me Angel (you can choose which. I don't give a damn). I'm not giving you my age because that's just creepy but I will tell you I'm still in school. Um I'm not exactly sure what else to say. Refer to my journal if you want to know more about me.

Well what type of written things? I just go to submit art, then click on literature, then prose, then fiction. Everything else is based on the story. I hope that helps!

So I have to copy paste any chapters I write into the comment section or something? I tried to attach a pdf, but it decided to put the preview picture up there instead... so confusing!!!

You put the chapters into the "which File?" section and put the description of the story or chapter in the description.

eh, it's an older piece so it probably won't be all that good, but I just felt like I needed to put one up there before I start writing anything serious.

I know how that is. All the pieces I just put up are old, but they are ones that I actually like and thought other people might as well. I'm pretty serious about any of my writing though. This may sound creepy but they are a part of me.

I get it. The stuff I'm starting on is more personal, and hopefully infinitely better. So far, I've had to pull a little bit of myself on even the characters heavily based on others.

I think it's best that way. It makes the characters seem believable because they aren't so far fetched. It makes it so people can actually relate and not think "what the hell?!?"

right now, I'm still technically in Mechanical engeneering, but I'm probably going to change that into something a little more centered around writing. Maybe journalism? I don't really know.

I don't talk to my dad and my mom doesn't really do anything except watch tv, play solitaire, and yell. Her boyfriend isn't much help and the rest of my family (well the ones I talk to) are either idiots or jerks except for the babies, but they are babies so doesn't make much of a difference.
